The Time Is Now...
Science tells us the brain is grown not just born. A baby's brain is not finished growing at the time of birth. The window between birth to three is a critical period of brain growth setting the foundation of learning for the rest of life.
Intelligence is not strictly based on genetics. The baby's environment is a huge contributing factor to your baby's brain growth and intelligence. It is the everyday experiences and interactions that significantly contribute to brain growth in your baby from birth to three years of age. According to John Medina, author of Brain Rules for Babies- "nature controls 50% of our intellectual horsepower, and environment determines the rest."
It's up to you to do the things to grow the brain and create a strong learning foundation.
